Partial closure of Phillip Fulmer Way – Friday, December 1 through August 2024

Renovations on the west side of Neyland Stadium will begin starting Friday, December 1st, and will continue through August 2024. In addition, a steam line replacement project will start in February 2024. Both of these construction events necessitate a partial closure of Phillip Fulmer from Gate 20 to the G10 garage.

Parking Lots

We encourage you to park in the McClung Tower Parking Garage (G2) on Volunteer Blvd. It’s free and reserved exclusively for you! Look for the parking flags in front of the entrance.

Once you are parked, simply take the elevator at the back of the garage to the 1st floor, walk straight ahead, and exit the Humanities Building. The Clarence Brown and Carousel Theatres will be right in front of you.

It’s less than a five-minute walk. Please be aware that there are two sets of stairs between the Humanities Building and the theatre plaza.

If you have a government-issued handicap parking placard, four reserved spaces are available in Staff Lot 23. These are located immediately adjacent to the theatre, behind the Carousel Theatre and near the accessible entrance. We also reserve the remaining spaces in this lot for overflow accessible parking. Accessible spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is the best place to drop off patrons with mobility issues.

If you require special assistance to enter the building, please don’t hesitate to contact the House Manager at 865.974.8287.

Although located directly behind the Clarence Brown Theatre, we cannot guarantee spaces in Lot 23 will always be available and free of charge due to campus events and activities.
