Mr. Diamond is Head of Acting. Mr. Diamond came to UT in 2005. Prior to 2005, he lived and worked in New York City as a teacher and actor for 18 years. He received his MFA in Acting in 1989 from the prestigious NYU/Tisch Graduate Acting Program. He is a certified teacher of the The Alexander Technique. He has taught at The Actors Center, NYU, The Stella Adler Conservatory, The New York Shakespeare Festival, etc. He has acted at The Roundabout Theatre, Signature Theatre, Arena Stage, with The Acting Company, and in many other venues.  At the Clarence Brown Theatre at The University of Tennessee, Mr. Diamond has performed in All the Way Home by Tad Mosel, Born Yesterday by Garson Kanin,The Life of Galileo, by Bertolt Brecht, A Flea in Her Ear, by Georges Feydeaux, and as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens.
