A staple at the Clarence Brown, A Christmas Carol stands as one of our most popular productions playing to more than 10,000 audience members each year. Even with such an amazing turnout, we know we aren’t reaching everyone in our community. For some, even a $15 or $20 ticket is more than they can afford and for others attending events with the general public is simply too hard due to disability.
As part of our mission to bring theatre to everyone in Knoxville, in 2008, we began our Faith, Hope, and Love program to reach these underserved audiences and give something back during the holiday season. Through partnerships with the Helen Ross McNabb Center, the Boys and Girls Club, Agape, and the Autism Society of East Tennessee, Faith, Hope, and Love has reached out to a new audience in the Knoxville community each year.
