Road to Nirvana is a part of the Department of Theater’s Lab Projects Program. The Lab Projects encourage advanced students and student organizations to produce theatrical works of their own. The program supports as many as 7 projects each year which are selected, directed, and entirely produced by students under the supervision of a mentor. The goal of the projects is to not only encourage theatre on the Knoxville campus but also to provide students a hands-on learning opportunity with regards to the ins and outs of producing shows.
