In an effort to make live theatre available to all, we are now offering a Pay What You Can Performance. This program is aimed at providing increased access to live theatre for our entire community. In addition to our Blue Star Theatres military discounts for active-duty personnel and veterans, Season for Youth Student Matinees, student, senior & educator discounts, our Pay What You Wish program eliminates a barrier for some would-be theatre patrons in the Greater Knoxville region and beyond.
The Clarence Brown Theatre is revamping our Pay What You Can program for the 2018/2019 Season. We are partnering with local non-profit organizations to spread the word and give back to the Greater Knoxville community. Half of all proceeds from that night’s PWYC tickets will go towards the highlighted non-profit. The selected organization will also have a table set up in the CBT lobby to inform patrons about their non-profit.
Thank you in advance for helping to make our community even better!
Tickets may be purchased in person from Noon until 5:00pm the day before and Noon until curtain on the day of the performance at the CBT Box Office kiosk in the lobby. Cash only, in full dollar amounts accepted. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Limited to 8 tickets per purchase for CBT Mainstage; limited to 6 tickets per purchase for Carousel Theatre; and limited to 2 tickets per purchase for Lab Theatre productions.
