The Box Office new office hours are
Tuesday through Friday from 12 pm – 5 pm
and will be closed on Mondays.
Tickets may be purchased at the door 45 minutes prior to curtain.

Ordering Tickets
The Box Office is located in the main lobby of the Clarence Brown Theatre (1714 Andy Holt Avenue). Ticket clerks are available Tuesday through Friday from 12pm to 5pm and two hours prior to curtain for CBT productions.

Prices and Discounts
As a perk to our subscribers, only season tickets are exchangeable. All non-season tickets purchased through ticketmaster.com and the CBT Box Office are final.
Individual ticket discounts are available for Students, Seniors, UT Faculty and Staff, and members of the Military.
- 10% discount for seniors, military, and educators
- 15% discount for UT faculty and staff, sponsors, corporate groups, and season subscribers (Purchase in person or by phone (865) 974-5161)
- 20% discount for Schools and Non-Profit Groups
- Non-UT Student tickets are discounted – check with the box office for rate and to verify student status
- UT Student tickets – free for preview nights, opening nights $10, all other performances $5 – must check with box office to verify UT student status (Purchase in person or by phone (865) 974-5161)
Will Call
Will Call for the CBT MainStage is located at the Box Office in the main lobby of the Clarence Brown Theatre. Will Call for Lab Theatre productions is located in the lobby of the Lab Theatre. Tickets must be picked up from Will Call by the beginning of the performance. Tickets remaining at that time will be released to accommodate patrons on the waiting list.
Wait List
A first-come, first-served wait list will begin 45 minutes prior to curtain for sold-out performances. Should seating become available through ticket donations or other means, these seats will be released based on the order of the wait list. Wait list seating is not guaranteed.
Patrons who receive wait list tickets will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager and may not be seated until after the production starts.

Service charges cover the costs associated with processing orders including web hosting fees, running credit cards, mailing tickets, and employing additional staff to answer phones.
Vol Trolley Transportation to the Theatre
By using the Vol Trolley that runs between Downtown Knoxville and campus, patrons can stop by the Clarence Brown Theatre Box Office Monday through Friday from Noon to 5:00 pm. The Vol Trolly is a free public transit service that operates until 6:00pm weekdays. Get off the Vol Trolly at the Circle Park stop. Walk north beside the Art & Architecture building and the Clarence Brown Theatre will be on your left (look for the fountain in front of our building).
