Maranda DeBusk is a third-year graduate candidate at the University of Tennessee, pursuing an MFA in Lighting Design and Digital Media. Her work has been recognized regionally by the Southeastern Theatre Conference, nationally by the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, and internationally by World Stage Design. Her designs for the CBT include: projection design for Violet, and South Pacific; lighting design for A Lesson Before Dying, and Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play; assistant lighting design for The Crucible, The 39 Steps, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and A Christmas Carol; and associate projection design for Hank Williams: Lost Highway. This is her final show as a graduate student at UTK. Thanks to the many people who made this journey possible.
