Micah-Shane is thrilled to be back at the Clarence Brown Theatre. A recent graduate of the MFA acting program, Micah-Shane’s CBT stage credits include Monty Python’s Spamalot (Sir Robin), A Christmas Carol (Bob Cratchit), Sweeney Todd (Tobias), Our Country’s Good, On The Razzle, Kiss Me, Kate, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, and The Trip to Bountiful. Other acting credits include Sunday in the Park with George (George), The Full Monty (Malcolm), Cabaret (Emcee), Cats (Munkustrap), Our Town (Stage Manager), and Three Days of Rain (Walker/Ned). Since moving to New York in May, he was in the Transport Group’s production of The Music Man, and performed for an event honoring Jerry Mitchell. Before coming to grad school, Micah-Shane worked as a director in the region. He was the Founding Artistic Director of Encore Theatrical Company. Some of his directing credits include Les Misérables, Hairspray, Noises Off, Chicago, Inherit the Wind, The Sound of Music, Company, Absurd Person Singular, Urinetown, The Secret Garden, Death of a Salesman, Into the Woods, Assassins, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Laramie Project, Dinner with Friends, Proof, and Jesus Christ Superstar, to name a few. Micah-Shane has produced concerts with artists like Sutton Foster, Donna McKechnie, Stephanie J. Block, Liz Callaway, Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley. He has written for The Sondheim Review.
