Lise is delighted to be here in Knoxville. Currently residing in Washington, DC, she is a founding member of the Taffety Punk Theatre Company: an upstart multi-discipline performance group lauded for its quality, courage, and coolness. For the Punks, Lise has helmed premieres of Oxygen, Owl Moon, Let X, and The Devil in his Own Words; All Girl productions of Titus Andronicus, Julius Caesar, Measure for Measure and Romeo and Juliet; and Bootleg Shakespeares (full productions rehearsed and performed in one day) including King John, Troilus and Cressida, Cymbeline and Henry the VIII. Other credits include Hamlet for the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, and Savage in Limbo for MetroStage (DC). As an actor, she has performed in regional theatres across the country, such as Cleveland Playhouse, the Old Globe, ACT, Seattle Rep, Berkeley Rep; and for the St. Louis, Alabama, Chicago, Santa Cruz, and Oregon Shakespeare Festivals. Lise trained at RADA, and is proud to be a Taffety Punk.
