Emily Kicklighter is delighted to reprise the role of Mrs. Cratchit for the third year in a row here at the Clarence Brown Theatre. Also at the CBT: South Pacific (Lead Nurse); The Crucible (Ann Putnam/Sarah Good); The Busy Body (Patch); Around the World in 80 Days (Aouda); and most recently Three Sisters (Olga). She was a company member (or Bat) at The Flea Theatre in New York where she worked with American Theatre giants like Sigourney Weaver, Christopher Durang, and Adam Rapp. She also enjoyed a season of personally assisting Tim Robbins while studying with The Actors Gang in LA, and the Apprenticeship at Actors Theatre of Louisville enabled her to work with Universes, Siti Company, Theatre de Jeune Lune, and the incomparable Michael Friedman (may he rest in peace). She’s grateful to be completing her MFA at UTK this Spring, which she never could have done without the love and support of her family and husband. She’s also grateful to the community here in Knoxville…lovelier audiences cannot be found and she counts herself lucky to have performed for you!
