Carlène Pochette, originally from the French Saint Martin Island in the West Indies, is thrilled to return to the Clarence Brown Theatre for A Christmas Carol. Currently a third-year MFA Acting candidate at UT, Carlène last performed at the Clarence Brown Theatre in Three Sisters as Masha, Around the World in 80 Days as various characters, The Busy Body: A Comedy as Scentwell, A Lesson Before Dying as Vivienne Baptiste, A Christmas Carol as Ghost of Christmas Past, The Crucible as Tituba, and South Pacific. Prior to that, she has performed in many independent film and theatre productions in Philadelphia that include: Ruined (Stagecrafters Theatre), VI Degrees (Adrienne Theatre), Voiceless (C3 Studios), The Piano Lesson (Steel River Playhouse), By the Way, Meet Vera Stark (Silver Stage Company) and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. Carlène holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and is a proud union member of AEA.
