Shahd Abbas (Assistant Director /Understudy – Powell, Old Shady, Hawkins, O.G., Seneca, Tsuawiat, The Bishop) is a 2021 UT graduate who studied Theatre and Leadership and was heavily involved in the All Campus Theatre and Volunteer Short Films (the film club on campus) where she gained leadership experience in management, treasury, producing, and directing. She also enjoyed being a crew member for CBT shows such as Urinetown, The Real Inspector Hound, and A Christmas Carol (2019). Shahd is currently a Singing Server and is working on her own theatre projects in Nashville. She wants to thank Director Ashlee Latimer and UT’s Theatre Department for the opportunity and for the warm welcome back to Knoxville.
