Kenton has previously designed lights for CBT’s productions of Sweeney Todd, The Who’s Tommy, Woyzeck, A Year with Frog and Toad, The Life of Galileo and many more. In addition, he has designed, produced or directed more than 600 productions for Theatre, Dance, and Music, both nationally and internationally. His theatre design credits include work for; Cincinnatti Playhouse, Milwaukee Rep, St Louis Rep, Pioneer Theater, Round House Theatre, Folger Theater, Virginia Stage Co, Arkansas Rep, Arden Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Asolo Theatre, PlayMakers Rep, Great River Shakespeare Festival, and American Music Theatre Festival. As an educator, he heads the lighting design program here at UT and has taught more than 100 master classes and workshops, including some in Cardiff, Berlin, Munich, Salzburg, Prague, Mexico City, Avignon, and Amsterdam.
